Fitpuli Community Challenge
Rules & Instructions
1. Short description
The main goal of the Fitpuli Community Walk Challenge is to support the health promotion and teamwork of the participating team members with the help of the Fitpuli mobile appliciation.
2. Provider of the Community Walk Challenge
The provider of the Community Walk Challenge is FitPuli Kft. Fitpuli is responsible for handling and security of the platform and all data related to the Challenge. Additional tasks are attended by the company subscribed to the Fitpuli services ("Employer").
3. Participants of the Challenge
Participation is free and voluntary for anyone approved by the Employer. The confirmation of attendance and the set-up of the teams are arranged by the Employer exclusively.
4. Start and duration of the Challenge
The start date of the Community Challenge is determined by the Employer. All participants receive e-mail notification on the first day of the Challenge. The team challenge continues until the first 3 teams have completed the Challenge (in case of 3 or more teams) and the total company goal has been reached. After these criteria are met, the Challenge can be closed without any further notification. This final decision is made by the Employer.
5. Technical requirements of participation
All participants must use a smartphone with an operating system iOS 11.0 / Android 6.0 or later, have downloaded and registrated Fitpuli mobile application and own a valid licence.
6. How to play?
First, the Employer defines the parameters of the Challenge (sets up the list of the participants and teams, the distance(s), the map of the Challenge and the start date) on the Fitpuli Admin website.
Once the settings are finalized, the devices of all participants automatically collect the number of their steps within the given time period. The steps are converted into distances and displayed as team results on the Fitpuli Community Walk Challenge platform without disclosing any individual data. We advise to run the Fitpuli mobile application on a regular basis in order to sync the individual data continuously. The leaderboard of the Challenge is available on the dashboard real-time, both within the application and on the website.
The team wins which completes the team goal first. Hereinafter the place of the teams is defined according to the order of their completion.
To exclude any misunderstandings, steps can not be added manually. Fitpuli is only tracking step data measured by the smartphone. We recommend to always have your device by you in order to reflect the real individual accomplishments.
